“Not an edge of the seat thriller”; “Falters at the end”, these are some stuff I read in reviews. Some even went on to give ratings like 2.5/3/3.25. I personally feel that it’s high time these reviewers should just shut the up. I just want to know what’s there competence to rate and review a film. I too watched great cinema just like any other movie buff. And I feel that Telugu Cinema needs someone (reviewer) who appreciates and pushes new talent rather than simply watching the film and being so critical about it. Atleast then, it would be encouraging for new filmmakers out there to come up with new/original content. When Vishwak Sen quoted “Dr Sailesh Kolanu is the smartest director he might ever work with”, I thought he is exaggerating to promote his film. But it turns out to be true.
